Grantham's compact layout of track and buildings and its intensive and varied timetable of train services and railway activity have inspired many people to think about recreating the locality in model form. A few have acted upon the inspiration.
There are some excellent specialist websites and forums promoting railway modelling, so our key aim will be to signpost Grantham-related content elsewhere. We will, however, occasionally include pages from contributors whose modelling is closely associated with the historical features in the pages of Tracks through Grantham.
