The Down side buildings, facing platform 4 – late 1970s.

We are now on platform 4 and this selection of photographs takes the usual route along the platform from north to south.  This was formerly platform 5, known locally by railway staff at Grantham as 'the western platform'.

Below is a series of colour photographs of platform 4 or the "western" platform at Grantham taken from the site of the former locomotive depot.  Again, the order is from north to south.

    Can someone remind me - where was the refreshment room on the island platform? Was it in the wooden central section of buildings or to the north of that?
